 About Me 

I'm Jashwanth Reddy Kadaru, 20-year old, studying in Bengaluru. I’m skilled in C, C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript, with a strong passion for solving complex problems and building real-world applications. At IIITB, I’ve contributed to key projects like the college’s admission portal "Pravesh" (for live website click here ) and the Library Portal (still in development, I have finished my part).

I’ve also served as a Teaching Assistant for the “Computer Architecture” course, guiding Freshers with projects, exams, and tutorials. I’ve also developed several projects using various programming languages and web frameworks. I’m eager to join the Tech Industry, further expand my skills and embrace new challenges. Always excited to explore new tech stacks, dive deep, & brainstorm !!!

Vehicle Tracking using YOLOv8/SIFT

Project description : created a pipeline that tracks vehicles in a video, using bboxes.

Aim: to create a pipeline that uses SIFT/SURF to extract descriptors & Yolov8/RCNN to detect vehicles in frames and draw bounding boxes around them. Also, identifies vehicles by class type. Used OpenCV for SURF, used a open-source implementation for SIFT, and used TensorFlow and hugging face modules for loading pre-trained YOLOv8 model.

Movie Recommendation System

Project description : created a recommendation system for movies using CF, SVD, & Kmeans.

A practical recommendation system to recommend movies based on user history, based on techniques like user-based Collaborative Filtering, item-based Collaborative Filtering, SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) and KMeans clustering to identify clusters users & movies with similar tastes. UBCF, IBCF, SVD, KMeans were implemented from scratch using numpy in python

Blog Recommendation System

Project description : created a recommendation system for rich-text blogs using NLP, BERT, and MAB, LDA.

A generic Blog recommendation system trained on manually web-scraped codeforces blog dataset, to recommend blog. The system uses LLM BERT, & python libraries Spacy, Gensim along with KMeans to make recommendations based on user history. The second half uses N-Grams, LDA & Multi Atm Bandit to make real-time recommendations based on user selection.

Fleet Management System

Project description : an application to manage fleet & schedule trips

Implemented a system for scheduling and assigning truck orders, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Used ML to predict truck status based on trip metrics and sensor data. Implemented role-based access.

This is a project that was implemented as part of the Database Lab course at IIIT-B. The domain given to us is covid-19 and we made the software Outbreak Observer , which helps colleges manage the Covid-19 related information of students present in the college, using RDBMS relations.
